Walking

New Orleans has some walkable areas if staying in the city. The French Quarter is pedestrian-oriented. It is also walkable in the Garden District and Uptown areas.

Streetcar

New Orleans has a streetcar, which is always an enjoyable ride. If staying Uptown or in the Garden District, it is easy to hop on the St. Charles Ave line and go west to Audubon Park or east to the French Quarter and Riverfront.

Tickets to ride the streetcar can be purchased online, on their RTA app, or upon boarding.
